DevOps Engineer, Application Security

Our client is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer in the realm of Application Security. This position is a 12-month, fully-remote contract position. Please apply if interested.

Basic Qualifications and

This position will work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs, define requirements, identify solutions through existing functionality or customizations, as well as develop specifications and procedures for developing, programming, testing, installing, and maintaining new or modified custom applications within the platform. This role assumes a high degree of knowledge on Identity Lifecycle Management solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Automate security testing and vulnerability management procedures where reasonable.
  • Integrate security into the build/deployment process.
  • Develop, recommend, evaluate, integrate, deploy, and maintain security tools including static and dynamic analyzers, fuzzers, security frameworks, etc.
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate security controls into continuous integration, delivery and deployment processes
  • Experience with implementing cloud-based container vulnerability scanning tools
  • Experience in building and maintaining security controls
  • Build security utilities and tools for internal use that enable the SecDevOps team to operate at high speed and wide scale
  • Implement procedures to automate security tasks which seamlessly integrate into code builds and deployments
  • Build and maintain monitoring, auditing, and reporting frameworks that produce artifacts that support security and compliance needs
  • Ability to automate tasks using a scripting language (Python, Go, Bash,etc)
  • Creating secure pipelines for Android and iOS for Ci/CD Process
  • Handling certs and security for iOS integration with CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT environment
  • 1+ years of experience with Identity Lifecycle Management
  • 1+ years of experience working within an agile environment
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with at least Java, .NET, or Python
