Security Engineer, Level 4

Basic Qualifications and

He or She will develop solutions and strategy for CS&A to deliver the business’ desired results. The engineer leads in developing innovative, technical solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems.

Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other team members. Is knowledgeable in industry best practices in their area of expertise and uses resources to deliver solutions.

  • Security architect leader of extra-large and large projects across the enterprise including multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity. Ensures architectural principles are applied to reduce risk and drives adoption and adherence to policy, standards and guidelines.
  • Design, architect, implement security technologies such as (1) cryptographic technologies used for non-repudiation and authorization, (2) access management technologies to protect access to Kimberly-Clark resources and (3) multi-tier cloud and on-premise architecture to support high availability/fault tolerance
  • Work with business units, leaders, lines of business to effectively architect, design and translate objectives into tactical plans
  • Develop strategy and execution plans for the digital landscape to enable Kimberly-Clark security to move from reactive to adaptive
  • Build strategic roadmap, strategy and architecture for data security
  • Develops security policy, standards and guidelines appropriate to business, technology and legal requirements and in accordance with best professional and industry practice.
  • Manages engagements with vendors as they relate to evaluation, design and delivery of business capabilities
  • Contributes to the evaluation and selection of security software product standards
  • Leader in industry representation, policy formation, User Groups, and strategic direction

Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience with data security technologies including Information Labelling, Rights Management and File Encryption
  • Extensive experience collaborating with Enterprise, Application and Infrastructure engineers to identify, design, and implement highly complex, end-to-end solutions
  • (Ideal) Experience working with Cloud technologies(Azure, AWS, GC)
  • Experience working with Access Management
  • (Required) Experience working and/or deploying Microsoft Endpoint Security (example ATP), Microsoft Defender.
  • (Ideal)Experience working on API architect, design and implementation.
  • (Ideal) Experience working on IoT Security.
  • (Ideal) Experience on Tokenization design, architect and engineer.
  • Experience with consulting, guidance, architectural support for business-facing initiatives with demonstrated ability to work with and consult for non-technical users and leaders
  • Experience writing security policies
  • Experience with governance, expansion and innovation on endpoint, network and identity automation and enhancements
  • Intermediate or better experience with PowerShell scripting language
  • (Required)Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
  • (Ideal) 5+ years’ experience with endpoint security technologies; 2+ years’ experience with cryptographic tools such as HSM and PKI; 5+ years’ experience with network security technologies
  • (Plus) Certified Information Systems Security Professional(CISSP).
