Onsite- hybrid, with minimal travel required.

About the Role

This is a defining moment in your career trajectory.  The Senior UX Designer is the first design hire and an integral member of our client’s Product and UX team, creating our new SaaS platform.

 

This role reports to the VP of Product and is essential in creating clarity out of the toolsets in the cybersecurity solution landscape. Designers are a core function of

customer value and we are looking to find and, most importantly, retain an A+ player.

 

We are excited to hire a self-motivated design leader with business-to-business SaaS experience who fosters strong collaboration and drive. This individual will seek to

energize the product trio of Product, UX, and Engineering and have a blend of visual

and experience design background. A vital component of this role will be to iterate

quickly with customers and internal stakeholders, isolate problems, and develop

design alternatives. The candidate will also have upward career mobility in a leadership/manager/director role.

 

Create your ecosystem. JIRA, Confluence, and Slack tools to start, and other design toolsets to be defined by you upon arrival.

 

Responsibilities

• End-to-end understanding of the iterative design process, including research

methods and approaches, job stories, journey mapping, content modeling, sketching, wire-framing, low through high-fidelity mocks, prototyping, and user testing

• Drive and structure the user perspective, evangelizing integrated design approaches with a focus on content and presentation

• Experience and background building and selecting a design system

• Participate in shaping the problem, solution, and opportunity space to maximize the user perspective

• Run workshops with customers and internal stakeholders that help converge and

diverge perspectives to discover the optimal solutions mutually

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

• At least seven years’ experience with a combination of visual and experience design

• Experience in user research, structuring personas, affinity diagramming and

background with the persona-birthing process

• Business-to-business SaaS experience is mandatory

• Simplifying workflows of a complex nature in past roles will be critical for success
